Ordering
Prices for my artwork begin at $150 for an 8x10 canvas and go up from there depending on size and complexity . I also do colored
pencil drawings, miniature paintings and I am open to other options. Let's
talk.
You can e-mail me your photo for an accurate price quote. However, I
need your photo sent to me through the mail when I begin work. My e-mail is glowflow1@msn.com.
I do require a 50% non-refundable deposit before beginning a painting.
Turn around time depends on my commissions at the moment. If the portrait
is needed for a special occasion, I'll try to work with you. Holiday orders
need to arrive as soon as possible.
Photo Tips
Try to get in close to your subject, filling the frame with the face
rather than scenery. (Of course, if you prefer a special pose or
angle, indeed go with your feeling.) Always take extra close-ups
of the face for details.
Outdoor lighting is best, but flash is OK. Try to get accurate color. The clearer and more accurate the photo, the better your portrait will turn out. The more pictures, the better. (your photos will all be returned with the final painting)
